A) I was wondering the same thing about that repost!
B) I am away from my official tally at the moment, but I believe at least one or two performers do have 3 nominations... And there is still time to get your voice heard if you haven't done so yet!

Hello Bryan.....I saw you reposted one of my nominations.  Were you nominating him as well?

That's too bad about the Houdini's John.  I know you put a lot of effort in publicising it.

I hereby make an official nomination for Aaron Smith to received the Houdini award in the category of Parlor magic.  You can see more of him at Aaronsmithmagic.com

This year he pulled off an amazing feat with both his generosity and his performance skill.  He routinely performs for the less fortunate at no cost, and then bailed out one of the largest events in the area when he stepped to the plate after they had failed in their ability to organize a professional show.  Along with his original twist to his routines, his professionalism and willingness to sacrifice his time, energy, and pocket book all for the greater good of magic qualify him to be a strong candidate for this category.

There wont be any. Well there is still the Impact Award that is not voted on. It is awarded at my discretion.

It looks like nobody has made three votes to get on a ballot.  What happens to the Houdini Awards this year?

I would like to nominate Mark and Sheila Cannon of Cannon's Great Escapes for the Escapology category.  I don't know of many escape artists who would be where they are if it weren't for them!!

Jim Callahan for Mentalism

Living Illusions for Entertainer of the Year

Ray Anderson of Esther's Follies for Comedy Magic

I hereby make an official nomination for Cyril Takayama to recieve the Houdini Award in the not yet established category of ORIGINALITY, for his beautifully crafted routine of his fish tank penetration.

You can youtube search "cyril aquarium magic" and it will pop up.

It is hilarious Aaron. Thus I nominate Scott Anderson for Comedy magic.
